Need a Vista 64-bit Explorer.exe file
Anyone know how I can retrieve this file? My brothers computer got a virus and he fixed it, but it had corrupted his explorer.exe file. He tried taking mine from my computer and it didn't work because I run 32-bit. Is there anyway I can get this file?

Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send it as an attachment. It's just a bit too big to upload to VDr.

Did this work for you? I'm having a similar issue; corrupted due to virus. Any chance you could fire a copy of explorer.exe over to me too? I'm running Vista x64 SP2. Version number on Explorer is 6.0.6002.18005
THANKS!
Dave

I haven't got the file yet, but I'm sure it'll work because the 32-bit worked on his computer from mine, only problem is that it ran very slow. Will let you know if I do though(:

As there seems to be a problem with emailing the file, anyone who needs it can download the file here:

worked perfectly, my brother was really happy and he said thank you very very much.
He's got websites to make, so he needed to fix that asap.! (:
btw, to the other person who posted here, let us know if it fixed the problem for you too, otherwise I won't mark this as resolved.
