Email notifier that works with Google Mail?

I am looking for an email notifier that works with Google Mail.

I am looking for something that allows multiple accounts and will play a sound when mail arrives.

    Any personal recommendations?

I am looking myslef but most of the ones I have found so far seem to be a bit old (some dont even mention Vista on the supported OS list)

    Thanks in advance.

You can set Gmail to send mail to Vista's Win Mail which is similar to Outlook Express.

    Try this one:
    http://www.gmailnotifier.com/

    It supports multiple accounts.

I will give the gmailnotifier a go. In the past I used Cowon JetMailMonitor and currently I usually have an explorer window open with gmail in it because when mail arrives it shows up almost straight away and since the title of the window changes it shows in the status bar title even if the window is minimised problem then is when the screen timesout or running a fullscreen app. Also I use the gmail app on my Nokia phone and that vibrates when mail arrives but it only checks every 20-30 mins or so and if the phone is not on my person I dont notice.

Actually, in the past I was planning to use one of the full email clients (windows mail , Eudora etc) as a backup of my Gmail account so maybe using one of these instead would do both jobs.

But if I was doing this I would still want the web based Gmail to be the "master copy" so if I access it on my phone, somone elses PC I know the web based copy is the most "upto date" version of my mail.

Gmail will simply foward a "copy" of the mail to your Win Mail.
