    CD/DVD PLAYER AUTO-PLAY NOT WORKING

    Hi,

    I have the following config on my Sony laptop VGN-FW140E:

    Vista Home Premium
    32-bit
    250 GB HD
    AVG 9.0m Internet Security

    The player was re-enabled in the DevMgr and works fine if I double-click on the icon in (My) Computer, but it will not auto-play after insertion of a CD/DVD - can someone help me get that feature back? If it's a driver issue, I don't have any software installation CD for the player )

    Go to Control Panel>Autoplay, and you can choose the behaviour that you want in there.
