[RESOLVED] Changing Passwords in Excel
How do I change a password in Excel? The former employee assigned a 12 digit password to some excel workbooks and we want to change it to something shorter or eliminate it totally. She has been gone since May 2002 and put this same password of several excel documents.
How can we get this deleted or changed? I am the office administrator. It is the Office 2007 software. Thanks.

What does Excel's very powerful help file say about this?
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

I did read the help file, but I did not see where to change it on my spreadsheet. I am most likely over looking it, but there is no place to change it that I saw. Thanks.

Thanks Train and JCD2000, got it changed! I think where I missed it was I had to go to "prepare" then encrypt. The excel help was not as user friendly ;-)
