    Dissapearing video component

Apparently, it happened overnight, after unevenful shutt off: Everything starts normally but in about 2 minutes, before the Network connection fully loads, the screen turns black. I still can hear the Windows (e. g., Avast informes me that its database has been updated) and both green and blinking orange lights on the front panel are seen and I can shutt off the Wins on the keyboard).
The PC is 7+ year old, and I has been shopping for its replacement anyway. I think I will be able to restore my data to Win 7, after I install COMODO backup. Or am I mistaken and new COMODO won't be able to restore anything backed up by another version of COMODO and I have to get the old donkey fixed and then transfer everything from the old PC to a new one?

If you can boot up in Safe mode, (and you have not disabled System Restore), try this:
    1. Restart your computer, and then press and hold [F8] during the initial startup to start your computer.

    2. Use the arrow keys to select the "Safe mode with a Command prompt" option, and then press [Enter].

    3. If you are prompted to select an operating system, use the arrow keys to select the appropriate operating system for your computer, and then press [Enter].

    4. Log on as an administrator or with an account that has administrator credentials.

    5. At the command prompt, type:
      %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
      and then press [Enter].

    6. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to restore your computer to a functional state.

    Sorry,
The only PC I can use is the one on the job. I tried Sofe Mode, the screen goes black even before I can see the desktop. So, I cannot type anything. Thank you for the advice anyway. This PM I'll buy a new PC and then will try to transfer my data to the new PC.
