u3 on hdd or cd?
what i was wondering if is possible use u3 os on a virtual usb key on the hdd or on a launcer on a cd, someone know?
thanks for any answer

For people like me that have never heard of it:
U3 is a company producing a proprietary method of launching applications from specially formatted USB flash drives. Flash drives adhering to the U3 specification are termed "U3 smart drives". U3 smart drives come preinstalled with the U3 Launchpad, which looks similar to the Windows OS start menu and controls program installation. The method works with recent Microsoft Windows systems only. Applications which comply with U3 specifications are allowed to write files or registry information to the host computer, but they must remove this information when the flash drive is ejected. Customizations and settings are instead stored with the application on the flash drive.

i know what is u3, i'm using it, but i was wondering if there is another way to use it beside using a flash drive, like a cd or mini cd, or even a virtual flash device on pc

I guessed that you knew what it was....I also guessed that you've spent a lot of time on U3's web site....What do they have to say about your question?

the only thing i found to contact them is by the technical support system, and i dont know if is good use that for my question =_=

Personally, I loathe U3. But that doesn't mean everyone should!
