Burning MPEG to a DVD DL
Hello. Failed at my first attempt to burn some MPEG files on my C drive to a DVD DL. Want to to this and delete them from my C drive to free up the space. Did not work. I tried using Win MP Ver 11.0.5721.5145. Dell Inspiron running on Win XP Home.
Guess a burning program is neccessary. I typically watch these on my PC. Suspect that each would need to be converted to a movie file if I want to burn to watch on my TV.
Help?

You need a standalone dvd burner. XP does not burn to DVD.

It will with the right software. Have a look here..
http://www.videohelp.com/convert
and find the right tutorial for the media you want to burn into a dvd format.
eg- http://www.digital-digest.com/articl...ick_page1.html
There will be some freeware options. If your standalone player is a bit older
it may not play all DVD formats (-R,+R etc) be sure you use the right one.
