uninstall network adapter
I am trying to uninstall through add and remove programs and linksys network adapter but keep getting this error
there was a problem starting
C:\PROGRA~1\comman~1\INSTA~1\engine\6\INTEL3~1\Ctor.dll
The specified module could not be found.

Network adapters are generally considered to be Hardware Devices...."What" exactly is it are you removing and "where" are you doing it?

I agree, you would normally remove one from Device Manager - just right-click on the device and select "uninstall".

I am using a linksys wusb54g with windows 7 but linksys does not have driver for 7 yet so when the computer boots It says the software driver was not installed correctly. I uninstall if from the device manager and delete the driver plug the device back in and it installs the device correctly. I have been searching some forums about the prob and someone found a fix from another company ralinktec that made the chip and is suppose to work. But I think I need to remove everything about the original one before giving this a shot.

Remove the driver in device manager, shutdown, remove the wusb54g.
Boot up and if there is anything in add and remove, try uninstalling it.
