What to do with the SATA cables
I wanted to share what I do with SATA cables in a new build so that it looks more aesthetic then just letting them float around freely in the case.
All you need is a marker or pen.

Wrap the cable around the pen like so.

Slide the pen out...

And this is the result...

Excellent/efficient idea. I wuz thinking about sticking my next case's cables to the case walls, et cetera, keeping the cables permanently outta the way. I had custom cables made for my second build and found the cost was easily within reach.
Curly-ques, eh? Not a bad idea.

I did the SATA trick. Very cool!
I just secured a wire that was too close to my HSF with a little piece of duct tape. Never gets so hot in there that tape will melt. I've also used thin plastic tubing to tie off loose wires.

Thanks for taking the time to post your idea usil, that's an easy way to keep cables out of way of the air flow. Neat.
