Wireless not showing any available networks

    Hi,

In my case, my Trendnet Router TEW 432BRP is giving some unusual problems. It was working for last year or so without any problem. Then it just stopped transmitting the SSID for some reason. The wired connection is working fine, but my other desktop using a Trendnet wireless adapter (TEW-424UB) is not able to detect the wireless connection. In fact, it cannot find any wireless networks in the area. No SSID's are shown in the "Available Wireless Networks" windwow.

The Channel : 1( I tried all other channels too). Broadcast is enabled, i also did manual setup on my desktop by specifying the SSID.no luck!

Note: Resetting of router has been done numerous times, no luck. And firmware on the router has been updated.

Could you think of any other setting which could have gone wrong ?

    Thanks, Jay

If you have reset it numerous times with no effect, then it is likely dead and needs to be replaced.
