Hi everyone. After a bad brownout I've replaced my fried HDD and I managed to recover 80% of contents. Unfortunately the registry doesn't have a "image" of the old programs so they don't work.
One of the victims is InoculateIT. I can't make it work, and I can't downloaded. Do any of you have a way to doenload it?
Among missing programs is a little appl. that would allow me to send files to any folder (it is called like this I think), and adds versatility to the "send to" command.
I also lost the Outlook Express Contact Files. The old OE is present but it seems to be empty. Any solution?.
I'll leave it now and in the days to come I'll post if I find anything else.

Sebastian, in any country or any language, love and backups are universal. 10 Norton Ghost images on one fried drive are useless.
This, unfortunately , does not help your situation, but may help you with future frustrations. Good luck.
ITPE is not free anymore.
Maybe IE repair will help OE or a new D/L of IE5.5 w/sp1 will give you a new OE5.5 to start over also. Then import what you have to it.
You are very lucky to have 80% of data.

The Inoculate is still availabe, if you have your User Number. You will not be able to register the older versions anymore as they are gone and wont support newbies to the group.

Hi, sorry people for taking so long in answering but it seams that my problems wern't over.
More problems with my line and after a new electrician had a look it was discovered that the previous one had installed an airconditioner on the same fase as my puter... (he is NOT getting payed!!)
So, Nick Grana, I know the value of backing up, but backing up to my HDD as you can imagine didn't do any good, and I don't have the money for outside media.
And Dodge, I didn't receive the files you send. Can you resend them?
Or, does anyone know of an AV program similar to InoculateIT and of similar price?... Free?

I don't have the costumer number for InoculateIT anymore. It was a victim of The Big HDD Frie Out I experienced, along with the program itself.
As for the program you recomended, have you used or know somebody thet does? How it compares to CAI?...
