    Get rid of 'New Volume'?

    Can I get rid of the words 'New Volume' in front of the drive letter somehow?

    It's not possible in the 'Change Drive Letter' dialog, it's just listed as E: there.

    Right-click the drive, choose Properties, and you can type the label in there. You can do it from Windows Explorer or Disk Management.
