    Can you force a video link to download rather than stream?

    We've got a couple of videos on our website that we'd like people to be able to download instead of clicking on the link and it streaming. One is a .WMV and the other is an .MP4.

    How can I set it up so that the videos just download when a user clicks on the link? I know you can right-click on the link and select "save target as" but we want to make this as simple as possible for our clients (some of which are not web savvy at all).

    Then post right above the video link what to do.

    In some players going to file and save as works too.

    Zip it isw auto download, but as you say. . . .
