    RIP Patrick Swayze

    died today from pancreatic cancer at the age of 57

    he was so skeletal that last picture I saw of him I am sure this is a blessing.

    While I realize no death is a happy occasion .... endless suffering is far worse in my opinion.

    You can rest easy now dear Patrick - we will miss you

    There is a scene in Ghost where he doesn't say a word but every woman in the theater was crying (and the men but we'll never admit it).

    but C.B. I think even though he was suffering, he is a fighter against cancer. He gave so many hopes for others to keep on and beat their cancer.

    As they say in sifi - Never Give Up, Never Surrender. The fight keeps going on, until evil is dead.

    An excellent actor and an inspiration to those who are suffering the same. He always portrayed a fighter in his movies, but proved to all that was not just an act. Rest in peace.
