Is there any good freeware out there that repairs active X errors?

Somebody may come up with something for you---but---use Firefox for your Browser and you won't have to worry about it.

Try Opera, it's as good but in my opinion it's better.

ActiveX would be code on the webmaster's side, not yours. You should contact the webmaster and notify them of the errors.
