I'm posting this for the sake of posterity and forum searches……which I did, with no recent results.
I was just checking the database in Spyware Blaster for load.exelator.com, which appears to be a newer tracking cookie that I probably picked up at pricegrabber.com.
I noticed a thread on their forums about uninstalling this relatively popular proactive defense that many of us seem to use.
So, for a clean uninstall it’s a lot like removing…..totally, Spybot Search and Destroy.
You can’t do that by simply add/remove programs from the control panel.
Applicable for XP Pro.....maybe not for Vista or 7.
If you do, there will be a lot of leftovers.
The instructions for a clean uninstall of Spyware Blaster are here.
Like a banquet: Eat what you can and leave the rest.
