    Wink hard drives

    I have a 160 gig hard drive and want to add another drive for games ect.I`m not sure how to go about this(I mean i do know how to install it ect.)but how do i make it so i can go from one hd to the other...and do they both have to have the same windows on them? I have a 3.2 intell processor with 4 giggs of ram and a nvidia 8800 gts vid card..thanks

    You just install the other drive. There is no need to add windows, most games will allow you to install them on another drive. But the main shortcut or whatever will be on your desktop, and you click on it, it opens the game.

    I play games also and have another drive slaved so I can install the games on it, and it works fine this way. The software will add the necessary files in the registry in Windows allowing you access to the games on the other drive.

    Of course if you ever wipe the second drive, you'll need to reinstall the game/s.
