    Looking for DVD - slideshow software

    My daughter is looking for software that she could use to burn a DVD of pictures that would play in a DVD player to watch on TV (no PC).
    She's running XP Home.

    Does anything exist? (preferably free).
    WinXP/98 dualboot - P4 2.4b 533FSB
    Asus P4PE/L MoBo
    512MB Corsair DDR PC2700
    HDD1 - 160gig Seagate HDD2 - 60gig Maxtor
    Antec SOHO File Server w/400 watt PSU

    I never found much in free slide show building programs. If there are any decent ones, I doubt they would compare with the paid apps very well.
    The best one I've ever known of that's a decent price is probably ProShow Gold http://www.photodex.com/products/proshowgold/
    My fav, because it does a good job with slide shows and is also is a great movie maker is Ashampoo Burning Studio 9 http://www2.ashampoo.com/webcache/ht...2210___USD.htm
