    taskbar disabled!!!

my taskbar is stuck in the left side of my screen. it will not allow me to resize or move it no matter what i try. it is minimized down so i cannot acccess it. it's not a simple matter of waving the cursur over it to get the arrow option, it just won't work. it does however show the right button options when i right click it. any takers on this one?

    Woooah - been there before!

Click on an empty part of your taskbar and whilst holding down the left-mouse button, 'drag' the toolbar back to the bottom of the screen (or the top of the screen, or wherever the fancy takes you!)

Well Colonel, I'm just taking potshots here but maybe reinstalling windows will return the taskbar to its default positon which as I recall is at the bottom of the screen. Incidentally I bought some of your popcorn chicken things last night and they weren't very good. What parts of the chicken are they
made from exactly? ...Maybe I don't want to know?

[email protected]?subject=Q134237 "Recovering a Missing Taskbar in Windows 95" says that starting Win95 in Safe Mode will restore the taskbar to it's default location; maybe this will also solve your problem.

Forgot this: if you'r on a corporate network, the taskbar may be stuck as a result of some system policies set by the system administrator.

Try changing the display settings from 800x600 to something like 1280x1024
Maybe that will shake the darn thing out of hiding!
