Spy Sweeper vs. Free Programs
I'm using Vista Home Premium. My Spy Sweeper subscription is up in about a week and I only launch it when I want to do a sweep so it doesn't run in the background. I also use ESET NOD 32 as my anti-virus checker.
It's $30 for the renewal and I've used SpyBot and Ad Aware in the past.
Does Spy Sweeper do a better job than the free programs? It always catches a lot of spyware as does the other 2 which I delete.
Thanks for any input!

If you're going to spend money, get Malwarebytes. Spybot and Adaware are antiques.
NOD32 is good. Keep that.

Thanks for the tip...looks like it's only $25 for a download. I doubt I'll find it in Best Buy.

mike2rc--You can run scans with the download of Malwarebytes for free. You just cannot install it.
Also consider using SuperAntiSpyware which comes in a free version
