To tell the truth, coops.....I've never SEEN a 'Nortons UTILITIES 2000'.....I think there was 'Systemworks' and VirusGuards w/ '2000' attached.....and 'Systemworks' has all the same utilites I mentioned before so I would guess no big difference.
As far as 'anything else' to add to your computer....sounds like you've gotten the best suggestions already.....except maybe adding command lines (given to us by 'Mosaic1') to 'autoexec.bat' in 'msconfig', to automatically empty history, cookies, and Temp folders everytime you reboot.
