    wireless LAN

    Hey guys,

I have 3 desktops upstairs and a wireless router downstairs. Instead of me buying 3 wireless NICs or usb wireless cards is there some sort of wireless switch that can connect to a wireless router? Basically I want to connect a whole LAN via wifi. preferably for less monies than the 3 NICs.

I have another wireless router but i don't think that this is capable of acting as a wireless client.

    Thanks

You mean an ethernet bridge. Some routers can be configured to act as a wifi client. If you can flash your router with DD-WRT, it may have wifi client as an option.

I can bridge my routers but i don't really want a cable running down my stairway. I don't know what DD-WRT is but i'll definitely have a look.

    Thanks
