USB recognized, but upon access says to insert disk...
Hi.
I got this little usb drive, and when i insert in into my pc it recognizes it and shows as F: Removable device, but if i try to open it it says : "Please insert a disk into drive F:". Huh? Tried to format it can't, it says theres no disk in drive F:.
Went to Administrative tools and Disk Managment, and i see it but it doest say size neither the if its FAT or NTFS.
Tried to check it for error with windows tool, but after clicking "Start" it quits.
How do i resolve this issue?

Try uninstalling it in Device Manager, the reboot the PC and let Windows re-detect it.

Presuming that other system had functional USB port(s),
Likely a defective/damaged drive then.
Cheers.

I agree, it's a hardware problem with the drive itself. They aren't fixable, unfortunately
