IE 7 can't open site operation aborted
hope someone can help out with this .... lately when I go to the following site
www.gamezebo.com and then in the search area if I type in the name of a game a page will come up with various links for reviews or tips
for example ....
www.gamezebo.com/games/jetsetter/review
... when I click on the abvove link I am
getting an error where it says IE7 CAN'T OPEN THIS SITE, OPERATION ABORTED ...
sometimes the page will come up without the error, but most of the time I have the error ... on one of the other computers that I use for downloading I installed Firefox to see if I would get this error and I'm not getting this error at all with Firefox, only IE7 ... I am update with all my updates and I'm wondering if this is just an IE7 error, because I find it strange that there isn't the error with Firefox ...
is Firefox a better browser than IE7 ... do most people on this forum use Firefox over IE7 .... I have always respected the opinion and wisdom of the people on this forum ... should I download Firefox and use it over IE7...
thankyou for your help

IE 7 with XP does weird stuff like that.
Roll back to IE6 and it stops.
IE7 was written for Vista and butchered to run on XP. Not good!

Train ... this error message is happening on 2 comps that have XP and my laptop which has Vista .... I was thinking it was the website, but since the website works fine with Firefox, then it can't be that ... are you using Firefox

2 with Xp and one with Vista all using IE7.
I agree in that case, there is a error in the website that is messing up IE7.
I use IE6 in XP, IE7 in Vista and this rig is using FF with XP.
Let the folks know about the messing up of IE7 so they can fix the problem.

thanks Train, I will email them and let them know ... at first I was starting to think that maybe there was something wrong with my laptop, but then when the other 2 comps were getting same error from the website, I knew it couldn't be the laptop ... its kind of got me puzzled ...
