    Which Monitor?

    Hi,

I'm looking for a new monitor, and have just about reached my limit, there are so many out there in my price range with all the same specs seemingly that I can't decide.

My budget is set at £140, I'm looking for 20" or better (although i guess more than this for the price won't be amazing), and preferably DVI.

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated. Just to note the websites I've been looking at are play.com, amazon.co.uk, microdirect, scan and aria.

    Thanks in advance.

You'll probably get more input in the computer hardware forum. I'll move this there.

You might want check the reviews on NewEgg.com for any that you are interested in, even if you won't be buying anything from them. Use the Advanced search options and sort by Best Ratings to help narrow down the choices. Acer and Samsung both have good monitors.

Hello James, i had good luck with samsung brand. I will second jd suggestion and check reviews on newegg.com to see what you like. It's hard for me to suggest specific monitor as i don't know what the price are in your country.

    Today, £140 equals roughly $206. (1.00 GBP = ~1.47 USD)

I like Dell monitors (I have three). There are plenty of models within your price range:

    Cheers,

Yeah the Dell monitors look quite good value. Looking on sites with quite a few monitors they all seem to be similar, I guess it's taking the plunge and going for one.

    I was looking at this:

Does anyone have any experience of Aria? I don't think they exist in the US.

    Thanks
