Security is the Priority...Netgeat PCMIA adapters

I (think) I know I'm not going to get the max speeds on wifi buying a WG511T adapter (vs) a WG511B......and I don't care.

I don't surf much wirelessly in my small house.
I'm not too old or laZy, yet to walk 30 feet.

ALL I want is better security than WEP, like --> (WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK) for use with a Netgear RangeMax Next Wirelesss (un) N draft router model WNR834B.

I can pick one up at a store that is closing for $14.....New in the Box.

How can I go wrong, or is my usual defective thinking kicking in.

    Any advice appreciated.
Networking IS one of my many weaknesses and probably Tops the list.

They only have 1) left ....so I gotta ACT on this SOON.....if it's better as far as security & compatibility.

    Thanks!

    Thumbs down [Resolved] Cr** !

    Shhhhhhhhh!

--> at myself JDC. Thanks for that confirmation though, guy.

The only one left was sold at Circuit City who is going down the tubes.

What I find interesting is...The Best "puter store in my City is and always has been
MicroCenter and they're matching pricing! (except the ridulously low ones, like that Netgear deal/steal)

CC still has 20 NICE Sony Bravia's (just what I'm looking for in 40") and MicroCenter is exactly the $ame.

-- Will we have any computer places left?

Less competition usually ends up.......you already know.

    -- Will I EVER have any $$?

-- Why do cats puke in their own food container, or always on the rugs?
