Question Testing Power LED thru Hard Drive connector?

    Hi.
Is it safe to plug Power led connector to Harddrive pins on motherboard?
Because my Hard drive led works fine, and wanted to test if its the led or the connector that is burned or dead.

Provided I understood the question correctly,
Yes, should be fine for testing purposes.
    Cheers.

If the Power LED isn't lighting up try rotating the connector 180 degrees.
