ATT UVerse
I recently had ATT 300 Uverse put in the home. Was very questionable, but I did so....... my issue now is with two of the computers in the home mine keeps dropping the connection..... My wifes never drops a connection.. Hmmmmmmm ? Her pc is 6' away from mine. They both are using the 2wire 802.11g USB Wireless Adapter.. My last tech talk with a level 2 specialist LOL left me with uninstalling the 2wire software....... he added windows is much better at recognizing the network connection better then their software......... This worked fine for 3 days and now its starting again..... now I have been able to unplug and reconnect the usb wireless adapter and it reconnects..... the gateway is about 10' away from my pc with no other electronic devices to interfere with the signal. Im getting ready once again to call support tomorrow sometime but I thought I would throw this out within the forum and maybe get some insight.... Bye

That particular brand does not exactly inspire confidence.
With that said,
If you wish to eliminate the USB adapter currently being used in your system as source of issue,
Swap it out with the one plugged into your wife's system and see if problem persists...
Cheers.
