Blank Email
Occasionally, I will receive an HTML email from a known and trusted source that is blank. I'm using Outlook 2007. If I select 'View in Browser' from the options, all the text is present. Does anyone know why I cannot view the text in the Outlook Editor, but I can in a browser?
Thank-you in advanced for your help!

I believe that Outlook 2007 uses a different HTML viewer than Outlook 2003, one that does not work as well. Just another "enhancement" of Office 2007. That may well be the cause.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm hoping that officeupdate will help. We'll see.....

I also found one possible workaround

Another is to ask your correspondents to use Plain Text.

Thanks Welshjim. The second link pertained more to sending email than receiving. I have tried to change the font, change to plain text, etc but in the end, the text just doesn't exist in the email editor. I've advised the end user to 'view in browser'. The email is from a single domain which doesn't happen often enough to warrant any more time.
Thank you both for your input.

TropicalBound--From my second link
"To read the message (the recipient) must click on the REPLY button and the message detail appears."

Yeah. Tried that. No joy.
If the user needs to reply, they have to open in a browser, select all the text, and paste it. If we received email from this user more often, we would have to pursue further options, but.......
