That's probably a monitor thing rather than a Windows thing. Is this on a CRT or LCD screen?

First, if this is a recent change (especially after a driver upgrade or something), make sure your resolution and refresh frequency are set to what they normally were -- changing those settings generally throws things out, but changing them back should fix it.

If it's a CRT, there's probably manual position controls you can use to move the image around.

If it's an LCD using a VGA plug (15 pins, 3 rows of 5), there should be an auto-detect option in the monitor's menu to automatically line it up.

In both those cases, the graphics driver may also offer a way to adjust the picture through software.

If it's an LCD using a DVI plug, this shouldn't be an issue at all.
Safe computing is a habit, not a toolkit.

Is your monitor a crt (big bulky one) or an LCD (small flat screen with nothing much to it)? A CRT has controls on the front of the monitor that you can adjust the width and height of your screen.
