[RESOLVED] [Home] unable to print out documents from the Adobe 8
Good day to you all
I am unable to print out documents from the Adobe 8 programme.
When I select print, it downloads into the printing queue then vanishes.
I can print out normal docs from note pad and word, but not adobe. Any suggestions?
I have followed the instructions issued by adobe, which is the standard printing formula, but alas, it does not print.
Regards
Georgeinspain.

What make and model of printer are you trying to print to? You may want to make sure you have both the latest Adobe 8 updates and the latest driver for your printer installed.

Thanks for your reply. I have a Pixma Canon MP140 printer and my machine tells me its drive is up to date.I shall try to update Adobe.

Are we talking Adobe Reader? If so, there is a new version 9 out. (Be aware that it includes Adobe Air and that it may also try to install an eBay related toolbar if you don't uncheck it. Which, IMO, is a bunch of baloney!)

This all said, I have dumped Adobe Reader on my PCs. I was sick of the bloat! I went to PDF-XChange Viewer. It works great! (They also have a portable version that will run from a flash drive.)
