Slow Broadband
Hi Guys,
A friend of mine is having some trouble with his internet connection in that it has gone very, very slow.
The ISP has recently been changed but I am not sure that this is the MAJOR issue, although it may be having an influence.
Anyway the machine runs xp media, has a 3 gig cpu, just 512 of ddr2 ram and is on a LAN modem/router.
It has had a full scan for vir/spy/mal with Fsecure, avg anti spy, adaware, Spybot S&D, and is "protected" with Spywareblaster.
Scans come back clean from fsecure and S&D, but avg and adaware come back with lots of cookies. Obviously we have tried letting both avg and adaware do their thing to delete them, but they keep returning on subsequent scans (without ever going back online).
If any of you guys can spot something on this HJT log we'd be very grateful. Also if you need any more info just ask.
Many thanks
