My PC is a 3months old Dell, XPS 410, Vista was preinstalled and yes, I have the CD. I was thinking about reinstalling Vista, but for now I won't do anything. The computer runs great, except for this problem. May be the upcoming service pack will correct this bug.

Go Start, and in Start Search, type in:
sfc /scannow
Hit Enter. Have your Vista CD handy.
It won't hurt anything.

That was one of the first thing I've tried. No problems at all.
