    OMG!!! I've lost everything.

My HDD has just died and I've lost all my photos of the kids growing up, what can I do, please help

Most of us know the answer to that question, so make sure it doesn't happen to you, do a backup today.

Of course my HDD hasn't really died, but if it did I would restore my data with one of my many backups and I'd be up and running in no time.

So take notice and do it, better safe than sorry.

Backup Boogaloo, you know it makes sense to do.

    I didn't. It's backed up so I won't lose anything this time.

Yeah, what he said. I just backed up about five full dvds of stuff I didn't want to lose. Course my reason was I needed the extra harddrive to install Vista. Soon as I get this tweaked, and my programs installed, it will get a backup via Acronis True Image 11.

Btw, I fell for your title last time......this time I was ready.

or you get the one i got a few days ago. computer wouldn't boot off the hard drive. I figured I might be able to save the customers data. so I asked them if they had anything important that may need to be backed up because I was going to wipe it out and reinstall. they said no and the wife confirmed that no they didn't have anything. so i proceed. the husband asks "what are some things that need to be backed up" I said documents, music, pictures and he says "oh no pictures i didn't think about that" but of course it is too late.
