    Need info about portable mp3 players

    Is it better to buy one that takes a AAA battery or a lithium rechargable one? Also most now are USB 2.0 to transfer music from pc to device. Can 2.0 be used with 1.0 USB on pc? I am not worried about speed of transfer. This is the player I was looking to get for my son. Any input is greatly appreciated.
