Anyone use Neatreceipts scanner?
Was wondering if anyone has used this scanner, and what your thoughts are?
Neatreceipts scannnerizer
Supposedly it scans receipts, can read bar codes and sort/organize. (I'm interested in it for scanning debit and CC receipts).
Thoughts anyone?
TIA, Kat

I observed folks using them in Seatac (SEA) and General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) when I was traveling lately.
Did not ask, but the users seemed to be happy with them.

Thanks for the replies. I read a lot of reviews and I broke down and bought one
I've only used it a little bit, the cost seems to be in the software (and also the scanner is only the size of a 3 hole paper punch.) I got it at Staples, and once I got it all set up I scanned the Staples receipt and the software immediately put it into the "Hardware/Software" folder. Somehow it "knows"
I got new version 3.0 (which works with Vista, there were issues w/prior versions). Staples was only local store that had the newer version. Scanned receipts are IRS approved, can be exported to PDF, Excel, Money, Quicken and many more programs. So it's a nifty little doodad
Still, I have to play with it some more to be able to get a good handle on whether it's worth it or not. (I got a $30 rebate, so that helped.) I'll doodle with it some more and post back what I think, in case anyone else is drowning in receipts/papers.
