Welcome to the green team Ridge.

If you break into the HD capture game anytime soon, Nvidia are releasing a revised 8500GT, with a HDMI and DisplayPort output, no more DVI and VGA....onboard Purevideo HD encoding.

Be glad to help. But the best advice I can give is to dn/load the latest all-in-one package from the Hauppauge site and also get the setup instructions while there. Be sure to disable/snooze or shut off your AV and firewall until the install is done and you re-boot too.
Tweakin' can be a hassle, but you just have to play with the settings 'til you get it the way you want.

If you have any specific Q's give a holler. This thread is supposedly resolved, but frankly,I don't give a' squirt. Give a holler wherever you want...

I was typin' when you posted Liam, but the HD/Bluray schemes are goin' to be down the road from me for quite awhile. At least until the supporting burners/players drop a' long ways down the hill in price. No way will I pay usd$500.00+ plus for one. Same for the HD TV's. usd$1,900.00 bucks for one of them things!?! And good gracious,$10.00 to $14.00 dollars for "one" blank disk? Don't care if it 'does' hold 25Gigs,ain't gon'na happen here!!

Well, Ridge I was kidding because right now I haven't got time to set my capture card up. Too much going on in my life right at this moment to mess with it.

On those blu-ray, I think that's funny about the price, because I remember when regular CDRW's were like almost $300USD. I paid $289 for my first one in 1998.
