Outlook 2003 View Inbox Addressees
Hi all,
I am using Outlook 2003 and I have hundreds of Contacts. I occasionally get email and can only see their email address. Is there any way I can see their Contact List name easily when I receive the email? I do not want to go through hundreds of contact email addresses to see who is actually sending the email. I can't always remember or put a person's name to an email address.
Thanks.

The "sender" is the person who controls how their name is displayed when emails arrive.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

If the sender's e-mail address is already in your Contacts, you could just use the Advanced Search function to search the Contacts for the e-mail address.

So without actually searching for the email address there is no shortcut to see who is sending the email?

If the sender did not set up their e-mail program to include their name, then no, there isn't any way to find out. The information wasn't included when the message was sent.
