[RESOLVED] [Pro] terminal services
hello guys
I have a server on my network running terminal services as an application server. What do i use to connect to this? is there a windows application or do i need 3rd party software?

Windows XP has the Remote Desktop Client built in. I think it's in Start | Programs | Accessories | Communications, but if you can't find the shortcut then just make a new one to mstsc.exe.
For earlier versions, it's available at www.microsoft.com/downloads.

remote desktop connection eh? i saw this. i used this. i thought terminal services was something different.

It's the same protocol for Terminal Services, Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance. The client bit used to be called Terminal Services Client up through Windows 2000 (hence the mstsc.exe filename), but they renamed it when XP came out.
