[64] Will this version of MATLAB work with Vista Home Premium 64-bit?

Before I spend $100 on the Student license of Matlab, I want to be sure it works for my version of Vista. I installed a friend's older version, and it didn't work with Vista at all. The newest version appear to be Vista compatible, but it doesn't specify 32 or 64 bit.

here is a link to the Mathworks website:

    Thank you.

(Edit) If the best way to find this out is to email the mathworks support site, I apologize. I just thought I'd get a quicker response from here if someone new off-hand.

So does the 64-bit part not matter? I've had problems with other software saying that it would only work with 32-bit Vista.

Odds are it will work...You can give it a try or contact the company directly.

Train, that looks like the newest release (R2007b) of the professional version. I can only afford the student version, which is R2007a.

    http://www.mathworks.com/support/sys...ntversion.html

I don't see anything there to indicate whether or not it would work. And their website doesn't have an email address, I'd have to call. How annoying. I'm going to do a search online and see if anyone else has installed it on a x64 PC.

Thanks for looking into it, guys.
