A Little but strange problem
Hi, I have a Little but too frustrating problem. Jejejeje. It's the first time I play it so I am soo happy. Well, the problem is that I don't know what happens, I've tried everything and still don't know what is. When I mount in the rope car that goes to the Gold Saucer just when the saucer reaches the entrance, the third video where the balloons appear, when the car stops the screen turn black like it's going to show a video or its going to change to a part of the game that they talk or I don't know. Well If someone can help me telling me what happens there maybe I can see if it's a video that haves a problem or something else. Please, help me in any way you can

I'm Talking about FFVIII. In the Golden Saucer. It doesn't sound anything, I can't move, I can't do nothing except control Q. That it's the only thing that works, so the game it's not really crashed. I Have windows Xp Professional and a GeForce FX5200

Easier to replace the vidcard, and less traumatic as well.
If you want advice on a better card, just ask. Everyone here has their favorites and it makes for some lively conversation.
BTW, welcome to VirtualDr!

Thanks for the help, well I would really like to know what video cards you recommend me to buy. I'll hear all your positive and negative things of the cards and I'll choose the better and the one that my wallet can afford too. And thanks for the welcoming

What's your budget, and where in the world are you? That will help narrow things down a bit.

Well, I'm going to start working in 3 days and my salary will be good. I think that I can pay no more than 300-400 US$. And I'm from Venezuela.

You will find it hard to spend that much on an AGP card, this is probably the most expensive, and best permorming card you could pickup within that budget bracket: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150223

Jejejejejeje, well of course that was a little too much. Jejejejeje. That's going to be my salary from one month and I really don't wanted to spend it all, but I really didn't thougth that that amount was a lot. Jejejejeje. Well, the cheaper the better. Well tell me a good card between 100-200 US $ that you recommend.

I thought that amount was not much because here is difficult to find a card that cost less that 250 US$ and it's good. Jejejejejejeje

Try the one in the link below. It's a good price in the US; you'd have to find a local retailer, or one that ships internationally (Newegg does not do so).

The card Liam linked to is about the best AGP card you'll get, but it will cost about $300 in Venezuela - probably VBs 650,000.00?
