    Bioshock Demo

    ....Just went live: http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/bioshock/

Only to Fileplanet subscribers for the minute unfortunately.

Nvidia have also released (Unofficially) Beta Drivers with increased compatibility for this demo, as crashing has been reported in testing, the newer drivers are here:

    163.44 Windows XP 32-Bit

    163.44 Windows XP 64-Bit

    163.44 Windows Vista 32-Bit

    163.44 Windows Vista 64-Bit

Just a few hours before the hot demo, NVIDIA released ForceWare 163.44 for Windows XP and Windows Vista, bringing improved compatibility for BioShock and PureVideo HD decode acceleration for GeForce 8600, 8500 and 8400 series GPUs (for Windows XP). These are beta drivers, but in case you wish to play the BioShock demo without any problems, then we'd recommend you install them, as we've heard there's a nasty problem on some configurations (with old drivers), which may cause the demo to crash. We've also added a list with the supported video cards, so be sure you check it before downloading the driver you need. You'll probably be happy to find out these drivers also fix the SLI BSOD problem.

I kinda lost my interest in the MOH series when I went with Call of Duty....liked the gameplay and graphics better. I tried MOH: Pacific Assault and did not like it at all. I thought the AI fell a bit short in that one....i.e. I fire a round into an enemy soldier at point-blank range and he doesn't drop.....hmmmm..."something wrong here".

I'm also waiting for Crysis....that one looks positively wicked.

Crysis is awesome, there's an expansion pack already in the making too, hopefully there won't be any more delays, and November isn't too far away now.

MOH seemed to fall asleep when it came to PC games, and the console games were fine, Airborne is gonna be out on 360/PS3/PC, so i'm hoping they all got their heads together and made the games the same, plus the concept is definately different, paratroopers.

I'm kind a shocked that the Call of Duty folks decided to walk away from the WWII scenario and "go modern" for Call of Duty 3......odd. But it looks pretty cool...modern Middle East scenario.

    Typo...

I'm surprised they've got it out so fast, 99 days and counting until release, Modern Warfare, i guess it was inevitable, they can only do the WWII theme for so long, now they are predicting the future.
