Mustek 600 III EP Plus Flatbed Scanner

I have acquired a new (Compaq) computer. I have a 600 III EP Plus scanner. My operating system is XP. I also have the disk with drivers but its for Win 3.1x/95/NT. I went online to Mustek site and acquired the drivers for XP. I downloaded the drivers (Web.exe)according to their installation instructions but I get the error message, computer cannot detect the scanner, make sure the scanner is connected properly. Its connected properly. I found a second set of instructions on the Mustek site that tells me to download XPDriver.exe, Web.exe and UP_LIB.exe. (the downloads are no where to be found). I have changed computers before and never had this problem. The scanner is old but it still works. Please advise me what to do to get the scanner working.

Thanks so much for finding the driver but I still have the same problem. I even went into the device manager and tried adding that way but my driver did not appear in the list.

Any more suggestions, please and thank you for any help!
