hi there to all...
i actually have a multimedia question but cannot seem to post threads there.
i do apologise for this. when using nero 7, i use the option to make my own dvd.so i therefore receive a vcd movie and make a dvd movie from it and lots of .vob files are created.my question is .after a movie has been converted to dvd format using nero 7, how can i know what the compression format of the movie was before being converted to dvd.
i have a program called g-spot codec information which i use to check what compression was used on movies before being converted to dvd format.
i would therefore like to know if maybe there is a program to do the opposite.

my second question pertains to hardware. i have 2 , 512ddr 400mhz memory sticks on my computer. but after double clicking on the system icon in the control panel, it states that i am running 0.9 ram and not 1gb ram....

The second question:
What is missing is being used on your video card. It's probably using 1024 bytes.
