Networking a scanner need help.
Ok, so this scanner used to work over the network. The IP address changed, not sure what it was before, and now when I open the scanning software it says it cannot communicate with the scanner. It's an HP laserjet 3055, is there somewhere in the software where you can specify that it's a networked scanner and you can specify the IP?
I guess before it stopped working, when you would push the scan to it would push a scan to a computer with Vista and now it says it's not connected.

If the LaserJet has an internal NIC, you should be able to enter network parameters through the control panel. check the manual to see how to do it.
Another possibility is that the NIC has failed. Do a LaserJet diagnostics self test.
