    2.5inch HDD in USB case

Hi All...Hope this is in correct forum...
Just bought a "Thecus Y.E.S. Nano N1050 OTG/USB photo Bank with a 2.5inch Samsung HDD" USB 2.0....There is NO Power Plug to incert this into my DeskTop IDE.....Works as a USB 2.0...
HOW do I FORMAT this HDD as FAT32...YES--FAT32....(NOT NTFS)...It is for photos whilst in the Field/Assignment so FAT32 is what I need.....
I tried through Win XPs Windows but it only shows as NTFS (sickening that)
I've also been trying Samsungs Floppy Install Progy 'DiskManager' through DOS....The IDIOTS have changed their Interface n it wont do Via USB..
So any Ideas besides a RUDDY NoteBook via USB....Something that should be Easy Peasy has turned out otherwise!!
    THANKS...

Try clicking Start->Run and type DISKMGMT.msc

Right click and Delete the partition.
Right click again and create a partition(s) and then see if you get the option to format Fat32...
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

    6 GB in Windows terminology is 6 * 1024 = 6144MB.

If you had attached that to a 98/Winme computer, you could have formated it all to fat32.

Useing USB.2.0..I Dont think so Train, unless it comes under SCSI..If it was IDE I Would...I did use a WinME Floppy but it would not recognise the USB2.0...The 2.5inch Hard Disk does NOT have a Power Conector on it, only an IDE. It's in a Thecus Nano OTG Case, with USB 2.0 conection only..with Battery holder for OTG in the field..
Is there another Way!! ? Someone did mention the "SwissKnife"..Might investigate that..But if it's DOS, No Thanks..Hate DOS.
    Thanks.

Oh I !! I did look in there n because it was UNFORMATED it Not appeared in there. So above could not be done that way....Was recognised in "Computer Managemant" but only NTFS in there....Still I'm Happy at the moment, n have gained a little bit more knowledge in the process...THANKS.
