For a long time now, I've had my Sony MD player carry virtually all my music with no problems. However, a few months ago, my hard drive crashed, and I lost all the music on there. Lucky for me, 90% of it was backed up on my MD player. Well, I've finally gotten around to trying to get all the music onto my new hard drive, but I've run into a problem. I've got all the necessary programs and drivers installed, and I try to transfer songs from a disk onto my hard drive, but it simply won't let me. It tells me theres an error, but doesn't get any more specific than that. So I took a look at the properties on a few of the files on the disk, and it seems they can only be transferred back to the computer they came from. Now, in most ways, this still IS the computer they came from, but I suppose its referring to the hard drive, which is definitely not the same. Is there any way to make it think that its going back to its original hard drive, or am I stuck with being unable to get the music onto the hard drive?
