    Emails

Hello All, i am receiving emails with differing subjects from different people with the same kind of message, financial. Tried to stop them, no return addresses, keep coming, one or two a day, today there was four.

Is there anyway of stopping these idiot emails?

Cannot get rid of my email address because it is my main one.

The only good thing is that it is my Online account.

    Thanks, GEP

I use Spam Cop (free). To report the person e-mailing you first bring up the e-mail on your screen and press control + F3. copy and paste this into the space on Spam Cop and press The button "process spam" then after Spam Cop does it's thing send it.

It will be reported to the ISP who sent it. I am using outlook express to read my e-mail.

Yes, that is the correct website. You will notice that when you are ready to send the report that there is a small box for you to add any remarks you may have. I always write in that box "I have reported this to the local office of the FBI. There is a $11,000 fine for sending spam."

That is the end of most of them.

Edit: Sorry I just noticed you are not in the U>S>

I use MailWasher Pro, http://www.firetrust.com/ and I don't even download these spam. I have not found an effective way to stop them. When the BlueFrog software was released, I thought that this would be a solution. Unfortunately, the spammers, especially one particular Russian spammer, was willing to attack the backbone of the internet and to bring it down. The venture capitalists backing BlueFrog decided that it was time to pull the plug.

    Cheers,

    Linda
