Win98 Freeware
I was prompted to write this upon reading member 1337man's post about needing a control panel shortcut. I think I have just the freeware program he needs, but the link I have is dead so I couldn't send it to him. I know Win98 isn't the thing now, but it's the OS on my favourite machine (the XP is okay, but possessive) and I have tons of freeware programs on CD, some of which also work on XP. So, mods, is there a way to allow a freeware junkie to upload old freeware programs for download by members?

I've moved this to our feedback forum as this quest is more related to what we allow here, rather than the win98 forum. And Administrators will have to answer this one for you.
I don't really think there is a way to do this via Virtual Dr. We do not allow uploads of such software so you might have to find a hosting site, but then again we don't allow hosting site's web addresses on VDR either. It's called advertising, and that is definitely not allowed.

Sorry chazal but we cannot allow members to download those types of files from our site as it would be too easy for someone to get a virus due to an infected file & we would be liable. BJ
