Later on in the summer of 2005 when it was hot in the computer room, that mobo would again shut the CPU fan off. This only happened on 90F+ temps, on a cooler day it wouldn't shut the fan off.

Needless to say I didn't dare walk away from it. I finally told my local supplier and he gave me a different mobo. That fixed the problem.
